Bigotry from all Sides

With this latest murder of an Australian jogger, it seems as if all of us, no matter the race, are bigoted. However, some of the influential people in the Black race refuse to call the shooting of the Australian an act of Racism. Why?
On Greta Van Susteren’s, Greta Wire, she interviewed Louisiana State Senator Elbert Guillory; a former Democrat now turned Republican. In that interview, and I quote, he said, “But somehow, the Democrat Party has created the illusion that their agenda is what’s best for black people, and we intend to shine the light of truth on that falsehood.” Although he is correct, the Black Race is not the only race that benefits from the Democrats controlling the citizens of this great nation. All of us benefit.
There are many who have their hand out and expect others to support them. It is not just in the Black Race. I live in North Central Pennsylvania and see this occurring quite often. There are more Caucasians here than any other race. Is the blame due to few jobs, earning a livable wage, or laziness? After all, we must take responsibility for our own actions.
Many in the Black community are educated; like the Senator from Louisiana. And like this courageous man, I condemn the excuses made by those who wish to remain in chains and refuse to better their lives and blame it on the rest of us, (no matter the race), for their misfortunes.
As a former Democrat turned Republican, I often turned the other cheek. I left the Democrat Party because it seemed that we are always doing this and not making people take responsibility for their actions. Those that refuse to become responsible citizens of the United States of America then must pay the consequences.
President Abraham Lincoln fought, along with those in the northeast; (Civil war), to have blacks freed from their chains of slavery. But it seems; in my humble opinion, that some Blacks (Negros as they were once called), use what occurred in the nineteenth century as a way to make today’s things wrong to be right and all that is morally right, wrong.
This is not to say that we Caucasians are innocent, we are not. Many in my race do the same thing. For this, I am ashamed. We must stop fighting each other because of race, richness, looks, gender, etc. and fight the wrongs that are going on in this world; for it is reaching our shores and pits one American against another.

GOD BLESS ALL AMERICANS!
